The clear window makes it easy to monitor silica gel moisture absorption. A color change from orange to light green signifies that environmental RH is above 50%, indicating near saturation and the need for reactivation. Note that even after this initial change, nearly half of the absorption capacity remains available.

Orange Indicating Silica Gel Beads

Fill Wisesorb dehumidifier bags with 100% orange indicating, non-toxic, and cobalt chloride-free silica gel. Each bead, measuring 2-4mm, changes color to light green once saturated within a humidity range of 20%-50%RH. Understanding that color change doesn't necessarily indicate complete saturation, the beads will continue absorbing moisture until reaching 50%RH.

Easy Reactivation in Microwave and Oven

Reactivating the dehumidifier is quick and simple. For microwave reactivation, microwave it for up to 2 minutes at 600W on each side, using Microwave power level 1–3 for low heat to prevent melting of the transparent window (recommended). Alternatively, for oven reactivation, place the reusable silica gel desiccant dehumidifier in the oven for 1 to 2 hours at 200°F to 250°F (avoid exceeding 250°F).
